Six to twelve is the working sweet spot. Smaller groups (4–5) are also supported. Larger groups (13+) work but the lodge availability and the cohesion of the retreat experience are different — we can discuss the specific group and the right approach.

Can the retreat be longer or shorter?

Yes. Three-night versions for tighter teams; six-night versions to add Punakha and a deeper cultural; eight-night versions to include a half-day at the Royal University of Bhutan or a private dialogue with knowledgeable Bhutanese figures (subject to arrangement). The four-night Bhutan is the most commonly chosen.

What about secure communications and infrastructure?

The premium lodges have substantial conference facilities, secure WiFi, and the equipment senior teams need. Our team coordinates specific requirements (encrypted-comms arrangements, presentation infrastructure, dietary requirements) before arrival; nothing is left to be arranged at the lodge.

Does the retreat work for international teams from multiple time zones?

Yes. Bhutan time is UTC+6, accessible from Asian, Middle Eastern, European, and North American departure points within reasonable jet-lag windows for a working retreat.
