The setting — the converted farmhouse

Amankora Punakha occupies a converted 300-year-old Bhutanese farmhouse extended with modern additions — the original farmhouse structure has been preserved as the main lodge building (containing the lounge, library, and reception), with the suite buildings added in compatible architectural style.
