- How fit do we need to be?
- Comfortable with a 4-hour walk including 300 metres of ascent. If you walk regularly at home — coastal track, urban hills, a long Sunday loop — you're fine. We pace the week; the days where the walk is the day, we keep everything else loose.
- Sydney to Paro routing?
- Sydney to Paro is two flights — typically Singapore or Bangkok overnight, then the morning flight to Paro on Drukair (KB) or Bhutan Airlines (B3). We ticket both legs on your behalf at confirmation.
- Altitude on the Bumdra ridge?
- Trailhead at around 2,800 m; ridge at 3,800 m. The climb is steady rather than steep, and we don't go higher than you've slept the night before by more than 1,000 m. If you have any altitude history, tell us at intake and we will adjust.
- Can you arrange Druk Path (longer trek) as an extension?
- Yes — we run the Druk Path (5 nights, Paro to Thimphu, peaks to 4,200 m) as a March–April or October–November add-on for the right fitness level. The week becomes 12 nights; expect a different rhythm and a different guide tier.
