Singapore-to-Paro is one stop, no jet-lag worth speaking of, and a Friday-night arrival sets up a Saturday afternoon walking the Pa Chhu in light that does what no equatorial city offers. Bhutan — Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, back to Paro for Taktsang — gives you four valleys, three lodges, one guide, and a pace that asks nothing of you that you did not ask of it first.
Two nights in Paro for the arrival and the climb; two in Thimphu for the capital taken slowly; two over Dochu La in Punakha at the confluence of the Mo and Pho Chhu; one last night in Paro for the early flight out. We adjust this within an inch of an hour either way to suit how you actually travel.

Switchbacks paced by your guide; lunch at the cafeteria; a hot stone bath at the lodge for the descent.
Day 7
Breakfast at the lodge, the guide walks you back to the terminal, the team writes a fortnight later.
