1. Day 1

   Sunday — Singapore to Paro, arrival and acclimatisation

   Drukair from Changi to Paro — effectively a direct flight with a brief 30-minute Guwahati stop where passengers continuing to Paro remain onboard, approximately 6 hours total elapsed. Arriving Paro in the late afternoon. Transfer to the Paro lodge (Amankora Paro, COMO Uma Paro, Six Senses Paro, Zhiwa Ling Heritage, or Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary depending on preference). A gentle valley walk in the early evening for acclimatisation; dinner at the lodge.

2. Day 2

   Monday — Paro cultural circuit

   Morning visit to Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong) and the Ta Dzong / National Museum. Lunch at the lodge or in Paro town. Afternoon walk to Kyichu Lhakhang (the 7th-century Songtsen Gampo founding) and the upper Paro valley including Drukgyel Dzong with the Chomolhari panorama (deep-winter clarity gives the most reliable views).

3. Day 3

   Tuesday — Tiger's Nest hike

   Early start (6 am from the lodge, trailhead by 7 am) for the Paro Taktsang hike. The full circuit — trailhead to monastery and back — takes 5-6 hours including the monastery visit and a lunch stop at the mid-route cafeteria. The deep-winter trail is dry and well-defined; the cliff-face monastery against the clear sky is the trip's photographic peak.

4. Day 4

   Wednesday — Paro to Thimphu, capital cultural circuit

   Morning drive to Thimphu (1.5 hours). Visits to Tashichho Dzong, the Buddha Dordenma, and the National Memorial Chorten (kora with local pilgrims). Optional National Day attendance if the date aligns. Afternoon at the Folk Heritage Museum or the Royal Textile Academy. Overnight at the Thimphu lodge.

5. Day 5

   Thursday — Thimphu to Punakha via Dochu La

   Morning drive over the Dochu La pass (3,100m) with the 108 chortens and — on the deep-winter clear morning — the eastern Himalayan panorama including Gangkhar Puensum. Descend to Punakha (1,200m, substantially warmer). Afternoon visit to Punakha Dzong at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu. Overnight at the Punakha lodge.

6. Day 6

   Friday — Punakha day, return to Paro evening

   Morning walk to Chimi Lhakhang (the Drukpa Kunley fertility temple) through the Lobesa rice fields. Optional afternoon visit to the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten with the bridge crossing of the Mo Chhu. Late-afternoon drive back to Paro via Dochu La. Overnight at the Paro lodge for the Saturday morning Drukair departure to Singapore.
